Climbing Rocks in Crete
it is monday noon and i’m climbing rocks by the beach. the sun is burning and my skin feels warm.
it is monday noon and i’ve spent the morning seeing the sunrise, following winding roads - up and down hills and mountains.
it is monday noon and there i am, sitting on rocks by the beach, overlooking the sea, watching sun rays dance on the waves - like liquid crystals soaked in golden light.
it is monday noon and i do not know that i will be spending the afternoon making art with paint sourced from rich red earth. i do not know that i will be lying on the floor in a small music studio, experiencing healing, reconnecting, re-tuning through sounds that echo somewhere so deep.
it is monday noon and i do not know that tonight, i will be going to bed feeling goosebumps under my skin, goosebumps within.
it is monday noon and there i am, sitting on a rock by the beach, not knowing. and yet it is all there before me.
